When I strip my engine down to fit my billet cam belt tensioner bracket I was wondering weather to do this to mine! Is it just as simple as welding the star shaped piece to the sprocket or does it need to be fixed in a very precise position? I've put a picture below for what I'm on about. That's where I've seen the pictures of it done but mine is in really good condition and wondered if I could save myself the £100 odd cost and do my own sprocket. Search an old post of mine, you MUST ensure no weld can stop it seating fully. I can TIG your wheel for a tenner.... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
