Its not too bad Mawby - quite a good laugh!

If you're going up for the day be it the Saturday or Sunday then I think you'll find you'll be alright with the Supe.

If howevr you are going to camp overnight then take another car! Too much trouble after dark with drunks and drunk drivers doing burn outs and just driving around for no reason.

Nearly had my Cosworth wiped out a few years back by some twat doughnutting in amongst other peoples cars  No way id take the Supe camping there!

standard lardy uk spec managed 13.875 at pod but the ambient air temp was a fair few degrees below current temps and as Branners says its very launch dependant with a manual, give it a go if, as it sounds, you've not done it before, it's a laugh and certainly gets the adrenaline flowing.

I used to have a well Tuned GTO TT but as you can now see i have turned to the Dark side.

My TT has 275/35 - 18's on the back and i can normally get a good pull away at about 4k with T/control off and do the work with the clutch but a mid 14 second run would be cool enough as i only have a filter exhaust and dump valve and both cats still on it.

See you all there if anyone is going cant miss me itsa black veilside with Rays Engineering Volks Race Wheels in Anthracite oh and freaky blue neons at night

Looks like it could be safe for us to go there and camp :)

Well my first experience of USC wasn't too bad. Only saw three, possibly four Supra's there. Is the preson who owns the very nice red one with graphics down the side here, or the owners of the black or silver ones that actually took part?

I'm really looking forward to the Japanese only event now as that should really kick arse! I might even be tempted to give my car a go, it looked great fun! :D

Bloody hot though! :flame Dev 32 degress in the shade, and that was after it cooled off slightly!

Had a bit of a hairy experience on the way back. Joining the M27 from the M3, my gf went to over take a 4x4 in the middle lane when this car just appeared from no where in the outside lane. She turned the wheel back quickly to avoid it, but over did it sending us towards the hard shoulder. She thens tries to compensate and turns the wheel the other direction, hitting the breaks shortly after. I know you shouldn't do that, but it's instintive to break when you want to slow down! Anyway, we're now heading towards the central reservation so she compensates again and does a complete 180! We're now in the middle of the M27 at a standstill facing the wrong way with cars heading towards us! Thankfully neither of us paniced. I put the hazards on and told her to drive over the hard shoulder before any of the approaching cars reached us. She did, clipping the barrier in the process. (She drove in an arc towards the hard shoulder so we were facing the right way, but there wasn't quite enough room to do it.) At this point she's panicing a bit because the back corner of the car was still partially on the motorway. She was going to try and sort it, but I made her get out and I quickly reversed it a little and pulled it in properly, with the help of someone who was behind us and saw what happened. He signalled on comming traffic to move over so I could reverse the car a little. Top bloke, it only everyone was that considerate and quick thinking. I then got out and spoke to the bloke, who was congratulating my gf for not hitting anything! Apparently, the reason we didn't see the car was because he wasn't there. In the time it took my gf to check, signal and start to move he had joined the M27 from the M3 and crossed three lanes in one swoop and was attempting to overtake us! Thankfully none of us were hurt, and the damaged to my gf's car was only slight. I was impressed with my gf's nurves of steel. She was determined to get back in the car and continue the journey. We looked at the skid marks and they're quite impressive! In fact they had some resemblance to the ones left by that professional dougnut bloke with the TVR! I didn't think this event would have such a bad influence of my gf's driving! :p
