Thank to Millhouse and Supragal for navigating, CJ for getting all flustered when we got lost/late for ferry/running out of fuel in the middle of no where, and organising a group owning of a BMW X5 :D, and SimonB for best use of Nur spec R in a tunnel.

Top stuff indeed. I'll post my piccies tomorrow too, right now I'm chilling out after a 540mile drive today, drinking one of my hypermarket beers :) .

I wasn't too far behind with 166 on the dial (on video). This after thinking it would only do 140, then i realised the auto box was in 3rd on the limiter. :innocent: not bad for stock, going up a hill, 2up and girlfriends packed for 2weeks away;)

How long did it take us to do 540?

I guess 11 hours total, minus at least 4 or 5 hours we were eating/on the ferry/buying booze/etc.

I reckon I would have had 185 with a bit more room, and that's with no front undertray at the moment, so aerodynamics could be better.

Now that was a great trip! My top speed? Well, the speedo read around 175 leptons and the power meter said 160 so I reckon somewhere beteen the two. :D

Big thanks to all my fellow travellers for making it a sh*t hot trip and for making Joshua feel so welcome. Also a big thanks for finding a petrol staion when I was running on fumes  and for talking me in when i got lost and ended up in the wrong port :conf: :looney:

Yep - this was a trip that I would reccomend to anyone who wants fun.

This was on the autobahn btw, not the Nurburgring! It really is an awesome track though, the crests and dips are amazing. If you ever get a chance to go, do so, it was fantastic. So many serious cars there too. We must have seen 10 Porsche GT3s alone.

Wow what a trip http://www.angelfire.com/super2/millhouse/images/OC_SUN_117.GIF

155 on the way to the first hotel in the rain then 165 on the way to the track through Germany and 120 on the track was good enough without the 170 on the way home http://www.angelfire.com/super2/millhouse/images/S_THUM_119.GIF

Thanks to everyone that went for making it a great few days http://www.angelfire.com/super2/millhouse/images/ta_clap21.gif

Lets hope we can have a few more supras going next year http://www.angelfire.com/super2/millhouse/images/b_wink2.gif
