SkyJawa
I've got the bov on the car, its mounted over by the battery on a pipe, and only need to connect up the small pipe that goes to it. Now, the vacuum hose on the front of the throttle body: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/attachment.php?s=&postid=184613 is too big internally for any of the T-pieces I have. So the question is - can I plumb it into the pipe I use for the boost gauge?

lovatt
mine is not plumbed into that pipe, it is linked to the original pipe from the original bov on the left hand side of the engine

Terminator
My BOV is in the same location and is fitted to the hose you have shown. Personally I would find a Y or T that fits rather than running a longer hose the boost gauge take off point.

Cheers mate, but could I bodge it to there for the time being until I can sort the required size T piece? trouble is, I need a T with 2 large pipes for that one shown, and a smaller one to the HKS SSQV as its 3.5mm piping to that (the hose shown is far too big to go on the port on the BOV too )....... Terminator
I am not sure if you can use the other pipe or not. Check with Dude I thought his was taken off another point.

dude
Mines taken off the first pipe behind the throttle body it has a non return valve in it , im sure B&Q do some plastic fittings that reduce the size of the pipe . Dude:flame Dev

Supragal
It is possible to have guys that are friends Anyway, I'll ask him about the BOV when if he ever makes it here
Supragal
Taking over Rosie's persona for just one moment I'd say that you could run it temporarily off the same small vac hoses that the stock boost sensor/FPR/other gubbins sits on. It won't be pretty as this stuff is engine side of the intake manifold and the BOV is the other side but hey, if it gets you mobile Must stop this now as my chest appears to be way too heavy. -Ian
SkyJawa
LOL Nice one Ian - cheers I'll temporarily do that then, then find a decent sized T
