Bobbeh
Sometimes I get the urge to do the same driving to work in the mornings. http://www.break.com/index/humvee_driving_in_iraqi_traffic.html
Pot
OH MY GOD... In all fairness (In a childish manner) - THAT'S Quality!... Especially when he bumped the bus, I wasn't sure if he was going to do it, but he did... lol.. And the chap in the middle of the road at about 2:10 was great... and the other chap picking his nose... but how high was that central reservation?... Seems they were a bit dodgy about crossing it? Funny after they did... lol GREAT

Homer
Yet another disgusting example of the US military's treatment of the Iraqi civilians. I can't see how any of you can see ramming peoples cars out of the way is a fair way to treat civilians. How would you react if the same thing happened to you in your pride and joy?
Pot
Do we know what they were on the way to?... Maybe they had medics in the back to go and treat people suffering from another car bomb?... We can make comments about the driving standards, and common sense of the people in the vid and how they act with a big Hummer tearing up the road, essentially an emergency vehicle there at the moment... The people in the UK do what they can to get out of the way when they see an emergency vehicle behind them, OK, the HumVee didn't have blue lights, but common sense would have said to move!... True, the soldiers inside were laughing, and making comments, and we giggled here, we giggle due to how we behave here, the soldiers laugh at it as it's a light bit of relief to get them over the rest of the stresses they're going through out there... Homer
It may well have been an emergency, but they gave those people they rammed almost no time to react. Those humvee's have no lights and only a horn... If you've ever visited (or even lived) in the middle east you'll know the sound of a horn means very little apart from a car somewhere near you *might* be turning or changing lanes. Pot
Fair comment, In exchange (apare from a couple), I'd swop 'rammed' to 'tapped'... But I'd like to see what many other people would do in the same situation?... That's got to be quite restrained!...
Homer
You can clearly see the damage caused to the civs cars. Those HV are very heavy and even a tap will seriously damage an average car. They gave those people little to no chance to respond. Have you ever seen how long it takes for the 'public' to move out the way on "Police stop" or similar programs even when they have a proper police car with lights, stickers and sirens behind them? These Iraqi drivers were given split seconds before they were rammed. Disgusting behaviour as normal from the hick US forces.

supra steveo
Do we know what they were on the way to?... Maybe they had medics in the back to go and treat people suffering from another car bomb?... the answer to that driving is not reacting to a car bomb they could of caused more incidents on the way to it and if they are medics would have to stop True, the soldiers inside were laughing, and making comments, and we giggled here, we giggle due to how we behave here, the soldiers laugh at it as it's a light bit of relief to get them over the rest of the stresses they're going through out there... this is proof they had not just came into contact with insurgents, i think they are just being a bunch of arseholes oh yeah and humvees do have lights and the ambulance varient of the hummer will have blue lights just depends on if they are aloud to use them i know the landrover ambulance has blue lights but because i hadnt done the coure i wasnt aloud to use them
supra steveo
But considering it's technically a warzone?... yes it is a war zone and a wrong turn can put you and your troop in immediate danger, but you dont do your self any favours by driving round like that I completely agree with Homer. Its just not right. i agree it is wrong

SupraAyf
Disgusting behaviour as normal from the hick US forces. That's normal behaviour for them. Why do you think so many of them are targeted and killed - It's because they treat the Iraqi's like shit and now the yanks are sustaining heavy casualties because the Iraqi people now think of them as target practice and scum. The US policy in Iraq is so out of touch with humanity and compassion that it makes a mockery of the whole reason why we went over there. It also causes problems for the Brits now as the Iraqi bad guys think that the US and UK Governments are in bed with each other due to the press relationship between Bush and Blaire - This just means that our fine soldiers are getting f@cked up the arse every time they venture out on patrol duties. I have been in numerous incidents in the last 12 months in Baghdad where we (UK guys) have been caught in very heavy running gun battles between the US and the Iraqi insurgents and all because the US soldiers have killed some poor innocent Iraqi sod at the side of the road. In truth, the video doesn't do the US mission in Iraq any justice as the US guys normally shoot the fuck out of the Iraqi cars with their '50-cal' heavy weapon systems. The one thing that does remain a constant for the US guys is this: THEY NEVER LEARN:(

Not sure about that Sir! I spend most of my time in places like that and we never go bumping or shooting people out the way. The horn gets used a bit though!
