Dragonball 06 Video URGENT NOTICE

Its almost finished, pheeew...autoconforming tommorow...been working every night and every day no sleep etc

It WILL be ready to be shown tommorow at the Ace Cafe.

(Unless something goes horribly wrong thats out of my control)

HOWEVER I cannot distribute them in time for tommorow as there is absolutely no time to duplicate them etc etc.

I will need two days OFF to recover SERIOUSLY lol...then i hope to get them out Next week in conjunction with Jon PIG if he is still up for that...you are welcome to put orders in now via Jon PIG, (or you can view it first tommorow)

It was a huge battle, lots of problems to overcome (lots)

I wanted to grade it and filmerge it (these are just tweaks but i dont have the money for that ..but i did try)

But i think you will like it...most of you Will appear in it somewhere but there may be a few that don make it in (I apologise if thats the case)...also we concentrated on a few to help tell the story, i couldn't find a feasable way to approach it otherwise...otherwise it would just be a load of cars going up and down a road lol.

Sorry mate I did get them but they arrived 3 days ago via note from Post Office, so it was too late to include them some great shots though...not your fault...stupid Post Office are hopeless...but hey its ok, got way too much stuff anyhow...i better get on....a few hurdles and probs today to get it read....snow dosn't help, leaves on the track etc lol:p

I think we will stick with the original list. Once people have seen it tonight then we can start to organise people paying and the DVD's being sent out.

We dont want to take payment until we have a date for when they will be ready to go.

Thanks guys...showed it tonight so you are welcome to share feedback on this thread..I hope to get them out next week just got to re-edit sound and change a track and few tweaks but other than that its ready to roll...Jon is very kindly helping with disbribution...i went to the cashpoint today and couldn't get any money out lololol...bollox ha ha...so yeah be nice if you buy it lol..hope you liked it sorry it wasn't ready for distributing..we just need to sort those out, booked in at edit suite Monday Tuesday eves (I think) Luke is re-mastering the sound as the file was fcuked lol (not sure what happened there) but had to rush off in a taxi to get it to Ace Cafe in time..needed another few hours despite working on it continuesly.

DVD covers lables being done this weekend, tweaks and repairs Monday Tuesday, (including sound mastering) Duplication, then i can send it out..so from early next week Im happy for Jon to take orders bless him (thanks ever so much mate)

erm eh yeah....sorry, i'll try get some more in if i can find some footage of them...or if anyone has any footage...all this feedback is good but bare in mind i only have two edit seesions to change things..i have noted 'people want more cars'..so i will do my best to pass this onto Adam and see if he can work this in, with some guidence obviously.

Got to do a sound mastering session too and change couple of things and clean up etc.

We are ready to take orders next week, I will spend two days putting more people and car shots in (more MKIII's too) it was a rush to get it to the showing so we had to cut in the main story, which is why we had to cut out a lot of shots for that to get it done in time, but the feedback is 'GOOD' it means we can make a few more a little happier..I will go through the logs and digitised tapes and actively find some cool shots, i personally felt it needed a bit more detail as in dials, wheels and more faces, but as you can see we went with the most action..it is the first time ive done anything as callenging as this and i've learned a great deal.

Next time we do this, WE MUST encourage you to send your videos in as i only got one tape from Simon B, more of those going in too in the mastering next weekend before distribution.

We also had the problem of 4:3 to 16:9 conversion and this edit suite is not equiped for that..amongst many many other problems, the next one we do should be based on your footage more, the cameras of ours were only there to catch the main action complimented by the cool videos that we all know your capable of doing...btw if any MKIII owners have any footage contact me and that will help represent you..and i will make an extra special effort.

Thanks Paul and everyone, i want you to be happy..we have virtually made a Televison Documentary with fuck all money...but i want to get these out so orders taken from Wednesday and will go out the following week, still lots for me to do but im enjoying the fun and challenge to please most of you, sorry if i dont, but next one i do i will concentrate on a different part of it (a different set of people)...maybe 2008 Dragonball!!!!!

For Dragonball 2007...take YOUR cameras and if theres anything i can help with i will do...

This is the First one we have done in this way...so the next one we do we can improve on certain elements and organisation..also if anyone wants to direct, im always happy to just do camera and bring some kit (any media types out there? he he)
