Getrag
2 of my front hub bolts threaded due to very cheap nuts (which I didnt realise). Basically, what is involved in fixing these? Is it a simple job to press on new bolts or is it a bit scary? Thanks.
terawua
I got a load of spare hub bolts from mr T... for pennies (well pounds). To loosen and remove.... grab with a pair of mole grips , give a little wiggle, then tap out of the back... you will need to take off the discs. Then for fitting, just put the new one in position and pop a nut on the other side, check alignment and then tighten the nut to secure it.. easy.... hmmm maybe the manual says to do it differently....
