Gamer
Just got back from collecting my car from Turbofit and I just wanted to let everyone know what a great job they did on the manual conversion as well as a few other things. I am very pleased with the work done and without a doubt it was the best value for money job that I have had in a LONG time. I would also like to thank Dan the mapper for the excellent job that he did mapping my car, she runs better then she has ever run since I have had her. Dan really knows his stuff and I am happy to say that I now have a tuner that I can trust and that I know will not rake me over the coals. He mapped the car to 1.5bar for me and she made 624.4Bhp at that setting on pump fuel. Right now the only thing holding me back is my inlet cam. I currently have 256in and 264ex, I need to swap the 256in for a 264in to help the car breathe a bit better. If you have a look at the dyno sheet you can see how the cam profile is holding me back. Now I just need a new intake cam and I am going to install this water/meth injection kit that I have and that is it, she's done.
Gamer
Also I forgot to add, the manual gearbox feels GREAT ! I can really feel the power more then when I had the autobox no more TC slip or having to worry about the god damn fluid temp ect. The HKS twin plate is really smooth and I cannot even hear any rattle from the lightened flywheel, then again I cannot hear anything over the BL exhaust I am now a happy convert

Gamer
Haha, thanks guys. Dan thinks there should be another 100bhp or so still to come once I replace that cam. Then of course with the water injection and some bp102 or even some proper race fuel I can turn up the boost a bit more.

Gamer
Did you go with a NEW gearbox? Or a refurbished one? Cant wait till i go manual! I got this box from Jezzy it is a V161 out of a '98 and it only had about 850 miles on it as the car was wrecked, then sat for a few years.
