RedM
Driving along the M1 this afternoon I was pootling along at about 70-ish when a black car appeared in the rear view and appeared to be gaining quickly. I moved to the middle lane to let it go by thinking it might just be an unmarked police car. It was only an old shitter of a Beemer but behind it was a Prelude. Seeing it was all clear I pulled out behind the Prelude which in turn moved to the middle lane. I went by it in 'good time' and the Predlude then pulled out behind me and flashed it's lights. Hmm.... I hadn't been a twat and I was pretty sure nothing was hanging off the car. So, thinking the guy was either a nutter or wanting a race I pulled over to let him by. As he went by he looked over and waved. Now, I'm assuming he just liked the car as I didn't recognise him but if we have met then I'm awfully sorry for not waving back. Memory of a goldfish and all that. Oh, and I did pass a black police Volvo further down the M1. Thankfully it was on the hard shoulder comparing gayness of car with a Golf driver. Ric
yeah they have a few black volvo estate things with the blacked out rear windows, always an unmarked copper usually like junction 28-20 sort of area

RedM
u pulled off the idea of selling yours now? I have, yeah. I've been thinking about what to do with the car. I think I shall make the car more pleasing to look at. 18s and some skirts and spats. I may go for a new nose if I can find one that works as well with the SMIC as the stock bumper. Complete respray in stock red and an interior spruce up too. Performance wise I'm settling for BPU. I cannot for the life of me see that a single makes any kind of sense when the costs involved are compared to the use, or rather, lack of use that it'll get. They are great for tuners and the hardcore owners but there are also a number of 'live with mum and dads' doing singles just because they can and it seems to be about bragging rights or doing it just because it can be done not whether it should be done. Silly kids stuff. No, for me, the Supra is plenty fast enough as it is although a quicker spool would be nice for those hectic rush-hour leaps across busy junctions and roundabouts. I'll lower her a little too. Nothing drastic though as it needs to be driven daily. Of course, all this is subject to change.
