ok with out a massive wallet you are looking at, Downpipe, intake manifold, double decatt, and new exhaust in turms of power you will be looking at 5-10bhp at the most. I can remember reading somwhere that you can get a 3.4l conversion done but I think it cost a fair bit.

Pink lady claimed to have got 260BHP through all the above plus new intake and exhaust cams. Pretty expensive for 30odd bhp.

Yes I had nurspec exhaust

Custome cold air intake

Polished head

superchipped.

Running at 264.5BHp

No tell a lie, no cams, it was Mos who had hotter cams fitted. Estimated 10-15 extra horses

so can someone tell me why you cant CHIP a n/a all sorts of cars benifit from rechipping and get good power gains my son put a spoon chip in his civic and got 20+bhp

Now I'm speculating here... but I know there are modded stock ECUs like the mines and the blitz ones, but I'm sure those are for TTs.

And the other thing is nobody has got access to the stock maps to change them I believe (Cost being a big factor), if I'm wrong please let me know, as I'd be very curious to the contents of the ECU.
