i doubt that will be very performance simpathetic, and doesnt seem like a healthy mod to your engine. Personally, i think the "pigeon" sound is terrible, and anyway there are plenty of bov which can sound simular to tht:search:

Guys this is exactly the noise mine is making. see thread http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=79764

It just started doing it and it seems I am not alone as Carbonangel has the same problem.

My concern was that the flutter was the turbo stalling? Would I be correct? Please can anyone shed some light on this?

Why would this have started to happen?

Raaaaaaaaaay! Lol had Saqib asking me about this, its really easy to do, but like everyone says it's a no no, its there for a reason and the reason is to prevent pressure spikes in the intake pipes while boosting thus preventing the turbo from surging.

Cheers ol son just wanted hear the reacton from these old bags. :D

Your BOV has stopped working is the most likely reason.

I have actually changed the bov to see if this helped, nothing! Unless the second bov was knackered also. I have replaced all the pipes leading to the bov and been over the IC hoses carefully and cant find any splits.

How much do you want for the bov? I dont think its this but would be will willing to give it a go?
