Mike
Not all the time, and I've tested to see if it only does it if I brake hard...? and unfortunately it seems to be random.. but more in the wet for some reason? it's the red triangle handbrake light I mean by the way.. I was thinking it might be telling my pads are low..? I checked those when I painted the calipers a few weeks back, and fronts ones are fine, rears probs need replacing 'this year' I would say... other than that I'm clueless... Surely this isn't the Soop telling me my brakes needs looking at though? there would be a nice 'brake themed' picture lighting up somewhere to tell me that..? or is it?? CJ
Fill (as in almost overfill) the brake fluid res. That should do the trick
Alex
Don't think we have low pad indicators... I know you have said it's not just under hard deceleration....but have you topped the fluid up anyway? It should be topped up as the pads wear.

Mike
I'll top it up (or get the bloke in the garage to, as I'm a cack handed moron!) and see what happens... Thanks for the speedy replies!
mini-e
Happens mine too just lately. Almost always under hard braking. Did a search and low brake fluid came up too, so hoping this will solve the problem. Let us know how you get on
