Supra has broken down! Help.

JDM TT Auto.

Stopped in a car-park to let other half out. Car stalled. No warning light.

Restarted is but it stalled again. This time it wouldn't start. Just the starter turning over but not firing.

Eventually got it going again but it died after a few feet. Rolled in parking space but nudged a wall. No power, no brakes!

AA man came out. He thinks it's a fuelling issue. Said he couldn't hear the pump at all and the fact that it occasionally starts up means it not battery/starter/alternator. He sprayed someting into the air intake which caused the car to start but it wouldn't stay started.

Got a low-loader home. Oh, the indignity.

Have had RLTC a week now. Could it be faulty?

Any ideas? Is it best to get it to Toyota as they may be able to diagnose this problem quicker than a smaller garage. Car is back home now so need to arrange another low-loader.

Just got back from a 20 minute spin in mine. The worst 20 min drive ever in any car! Car kept stalling, would re-start every time thankfully, although never on the first turn. The last two miles felt like the car wasnt changing beyond second gear (auto). First time i pulled over, switched the ignition off and back on again and it seemed ok. The second time I was pulling in to my courtyard so just parked and come into the house. Cold, wet and depressed.

Will try this pull fuse out larky and see what happens!!

Right, I'm off to find my fuse box. Erm, where is it?

On the right hand side dude next to the throttle body, one of the black plastic lids, will tell you which fuse it is under the lid but as Rob said, look for the larger green ones

mine did exactly the same with my rltc. Was a dodgy unit. I got stuck on the roundabout by Mcdonalds. Have you tried turning the RLTC off?
