Robert
I used a company this morning called: FLYINGBLUEDOG TRAILER SERVICES Classic & Sports Car Single Movement Specialist 01784 430705 / 07860 595355 Just thought i would say how great Mel was and at a very good price. Would recommend him if you have a lowered car. He moved a Supra last week, showed me a picture, it looked like Lui's car but not sure, had a light colour paint with carbon bonnet, it was taken up to Whifbitz, he said the guy mention this forum so i guess it was a members car. Anyways just thought i would put this up incase it is of any use to people.

I wonder if East Sussex is too far for him to come ? Can you give me an idea of how much he charges ?
Robert
well Joe he charged me 150 to get the car from my place in central london ( this included the 50mins it took to load because of where i live) all the way to turbo fit in milton keynes a good 80-90 miles or so. He is used to dealing with sports cars and has done quite a few supra's aswell. Give him a call he is a nice guy.

Gamer
Small word of warning to anyone who has spacers and/or a FULL bodykit (sides and overfenders specifically). I contacted Mel to have my car taken somewhere recently and all was fine until we attempted to get the car on to his trailer. He has a trailer that has sides on it that are about 5-6" tall. Well when I spoke to him initially he asked if I had a body kit. To which I replied, yes a FULL body kit. Well when we tried to load the car onto the trailer we found that the car only just cleared the sides and when I say just I mean 1/4" on each side before the wheels hit the sides. Not only that but the side skirts on the car also hit the sides with no clearance at all which was not evident at first as just to get the car lined up straight to attempt to load it was a futile exercise. He none the less wanted to give it a go as he came all the way down. I had to call a halt to it though when one of my wheels got snagged on the protruding bolt heads (damaged in two places) that are coming from the sides of his trailer. Also it was then noticed that my side skirt was being damaged (paint was removed down to the primer). So I now had two items damaged and here is the kicker. He had the cheek to then ask me for £20 to cover his petrol as he did ask me if the car had a body kit on it. Correct me if I am wrong but I assume that when someone says they have a FULL body kit that includes side skirts, does it not? I paid him his £20 and now have a bitter taste in my mouth regarding him and his services. In all honesty I should have said No. Especially since my £4800 paint job and one of my quite expensive Volk wheels were damaged by his insistence to continue to have a go. The whole time he was saying how this is the first time he has ever been defeated ect. ect.

Sharpie
I no problems even with the CW suspension. 2" each side of the wheels (I have stock 17"'s).
kslb
I had a trailer made for the supes, it has no sides, is a double beaver tail and has securing straps that do not go across the face of the wheels and only touch the rubber of the tyres. I also had modified ramps made to increase the length and reduce the loading angle. I can drive on with no problems now. I just got fed up with others loading my car and causing damage. The setup in the above pics I would not be happy with. Bit of a thread revival I know!
