Our retriever wasn't allowed upstairs, but knew when mum and dad were out he'd get away with it with me and jump all over me when I was in bed. He ate a used johnny once I'd left on the floor. (ugh!) Mum ended up sifting through his crap in the garden. Managed to get 80 quid back. Took it to the bank in a bag. She did attempt to wash it to some extent.
