SupraStar 3000
very sad we need to interview and evaluate potential new buyers to make sure they are worthy of Supra ownership and to stop things like this happening
suprz_rz
He picked it up on saturday last. so he only had it 5 days before it went on ebay. I guess he trashed it the weekend he bought it. He seemed to have genuine respect for the power and has owned a GTiR before, so could deal with masses of power. Still, does'nt make up for the fact he was only 21 and was probably showing off to his mates!!
SteamAhead
Feel for ya mate. Most horrible thing to see is your prized possession destroyed. I sold a car to one of my mates few years ago. It was mint when I sold it, no marks anywhere. Month later he turned up in it with few dents & scrapes. Many months later he tells me it's had a couple of spray jobs on the bumper and so on due to more scrapes & bumps. He still has it and it's a total sh!t heap now. Impressed I 'm not If ya sold ya sup, what have ya got now? Or did you go out and buy another one?
suprz_rz
Needed the money. I wouldnt have sold if I hadn't been in the process of buying a shop. Now driving a POS alfa 2.0Ti with only 150hp ( supposed to be anyhow! ) Missing the power already, but needs must and all that!!
toyotasuprauk
Always a shame to see them in that state and I feel sorry for the new owner too after spending out and a few days later for that to happen.

letmeshowyou
shame to see one in that state! how annoying that he says he doesn't have a price in mind when people have asked. Clearly he does otherwise he wouldnt have put a reserve on it!

SuperSupra
I don't get it, I know this is assuming, which is possibly a mistake (he may have been faultless for the accident) but it aint that hard to drive them! I know, I know, I only have an N/A, but surely it's just common sense, if you've got lots of power, in a rear wheel drive and it's wet on the roads, SURELY you just drive sensibly atleast until you've got to grips with the car? Am I just being too sensible?
Guest Flat4_ire
shit happens..only takes .5 seconds for it to all go wrong, think we all know that..BUT its more fun saying that he probably made a bolox of it and it was allll his fault though isnt it!?? suprz_rz
Badger is safe and sound. I rescued him before the sale. He cried when I told him his soul mate was dead. We all know, myself included:whistle: , that you dont twat around in this weather, but he obviously ignored my warnings.
Fifty
Bloody hell; I have fond memories of following you on the A30indeed the first members car I ever saw. I actually did think of buying it when you had it up for sale. What a pillock.

Am I just being too sensible? Thought id email him see how he did it, asked him weather rain was involved, he replied:- "Yeah, mixture of rain, RWD and inexperience. May fit engine etc into another shell tho if I can find one" Must be terrible, 5 days of ownership, will be learning a lesson from this myself!
