whats the fault

i had and still have the problem with the warning light comes on and stays on after 60-70mph, it goes off after you switch ignition off.

no error codes,

i know it will be the active spoiler thing, as jurgen has said.

didnt think it would be but today i bought a radio band converter, im having trouble getting that to work, lol.

so have had the dash off,

i now know why the spoiler button wasnt flashing, its been unplugged. should i re-plug this, take it for a run and see if the spoiler light comes on?

also, another question, i noticed that my traction control button is unplugged as well, why would this be? you would still want it plugged in, as you can just push the button in to take standard traction control off, right?

?? I was talking about the active spoiler.

Yes the TRAC button should be connected....but you can pull the fuse on that too and put up with or remove the annoying light that lets you know it's not working

Yep thats what im talking about the spoiler ECU at the back of the transmission tunnel attached to the ABS ECU (are we on different wavelengths here )....needed to take the whole dash off and remove the radio in order to get to it, and remember there not being much room to monouvre in there so found it hard to remove

which fuse id the active spoiler?

there is 2 boxes on top the radio.

and then there is the ecu, and a smaller box above that.

so the top box above the main ecu?

how does it come out? do i completly disconnect this unit. or is the just one fuse i need to remove

it looks like its on runners, do i just pull it.

yours if different to mine....mine was glued on and I mean seriously glued......had to prize it off with a screw driver!! thats the one though matey, pop the plug out and reset your ECU job done

yep.....hang on though, have you removed your active spoiler and want the light to stop flashing? or is it flashing while still being attached to the car??

Ok well try what I said.......I think this will solve it, make sure its the box on top though.....remove the plug, reset ECU and see how it goes

EFI fuse 1 the green ones......if in doubt pull em all and wait 30secs or so pop em back in...hey presto

locky remove the plug on the silver box the top one then disconnet the two efi fuses in engine bay passenger side for 30 seconds then put back in thats it refit your dash and leave that box i told you unplugged
