Rays supra is DEAD

Kingston Bridge, 00:55 hrs on 28th Sept 04, had an accident :(

 

The car seems to be a right-off... chassis damage, quoted by the traffic police.

 

Just thort you lot should be the 1st to know... after all its you guys who helped me build sucha lovely motor, you were all with me from day one giving me the tips and soloutions to all the problems i encounterd. What can i say...thanks :thumbs:

im oki i suppose... might be aching tommorow :|

 

well i was cumin thru the tunnel as seen in the picture (exhaust sounded lovely thru that tunnel)... and the bus pulled out of a side road! kinda ended up a 1/4 in my lane... so therfore i had nowhere to go. :(

Doesnt look as bad as you think , i would say thats defo repairable , if they write it off see how much they want to buy it back as i'd be interested .A chassis leg is pretty cheap but youd be amazed at what a jig can pull out

I'm really sorry to see your supe like that Ray, feel for ya buddy.

 

As others have said, I wouldnt be so sure it's a write off, afterall what do traffic know :innocent:

 

I know of a great bodyshop in Luton - if you'd like me to talk to them about having it in for a "proper" examination let me know.

 

At least nobody was hurt, thats the main thing - just a bruised ego...

If you want to take it to a good supra godyshop who can really asses the damage check out GVN coachworks in Chiswick.

 

Ive seen porkers and Ferarris go in there in much worse shape and leave looking new!.

 

They might also be able to keep it off the write-off register thing.
