Spike3.0
How many have come back to find this or worse? Good job I haven't fitted my Do-luck, saving that for next week. You think they would have felt the bump, My car shot back once the handbrake was taken off due to the pressure.
Gaz6002
That's why they call them 'bumpers' On a serious note, I hope you left one.
Supradan
That's why they call them 'bumpers' On a serious note, I hope you left one. Hopefully with a permanant marker across the windscreen:d
RobD
I'd would've waited for them to come back and had a go at them!

I didn't know what to do, felt like involving a hammer but tried to be sensible. I was right on the white line due to the length of the Supra in the rubbish spaces. But there was hundreds of empty ones around.
Geo
I would have waited till the f a n n y in question came back. All being sitting on his roof of his car.

Dave17
I think idiots tend to be the ones that drive them, like the one who tried to write me off the other day attempting to race at traffic lights.
DSK
ouch if that was my car I'd have waited for the offender and inspected the alignment of the bumper after having a firm word incase any damage was done. Sounds like you got away kinda lightly but still frustrating. This is exactly why I always park further away and double park! I'd rather be sworn at than have a damaged car. Gaz6002
left a note???? I'd of kicked 7 shades of sh1t out of that idiots car! Well... yeah. A note is the solution to your uncontrollable anger. You can swear, curse and say what you want, but without having to graze your knuckles or (god forbid) get beaten senseless by someone 3 times the size of you who doesn't like the dick with the blue penis extension. The car was parked in the furthest space and car park at the Mall in Cribbs Causeway, it massive and was half empty. Crazy. My bumper is now creased[sAD][/sAD] Although next week I fit my new one so didnt want to stress too much.

Hobgoblin
Some peoples lack of respect for the property of others makes my blood boil. Whoever did that, and then didnt even care enough to go and park somewhere else, should be flogged. Flog some sense into em!

"Sticks and stones will break my bones but words (even written down) will never hurt me" leaving a strongly worded note is very British dear boy but probably won't have the success that the effort deserves. I assure you my anger is never uncontrolled but always directed. However I do admire and respect Spikes restraint. Personally having poured my heart, time and money (all of it……I did not go out or buy new clothes for 18 months) in to my penis extension I would have struggled to be so reserved. Still I suppose my feeling for my car reflects my love for it, life being all about passion and emotion I would not want to appear hollow or flaccid. Agreed, but part of owning such a car is about learning to deal with these situations, or indeed avoiding it. For instance, parking away from the mums and trolleys is usually a good start. The note I suggested might not be the pathetic idea you are implying though. A demand for compensation in the event of damage, with notice that you have photographic evidence and his/her numberplate would be a shrewd move IMO. The police tend not to get involved with what they call off road incidents as insurance company also take dim view of a non highway incident I believe they try/call it for knock for knock. I’m assuming your implying private action suit? But how would you prove that you did not drive in to the back of the other car and simply clam that you had been the first party to park? difficult one eh. Well I won't park the car out of view of CCTV, so I took that as an assumption. Obviously the police/insurance would be the last resort, but I will guarantee you that just saying certain things to people will scare them into compensating you. Again though, prevention is the best cure.

And before anyone has a go at me for double parking I always purchase two pay and display tickets or go to the ticket office an offer to pay double.
