Supprisingly had some interest in this.

A guy with a tiger kit car :D and another from the owners club.

If i dont swap or p/x it then maybe a kit car like tiger/dax etc or money towards an AE86.

That is a stunning GT4 you got there!

What you asking for? If I sell my Supe I would be lookin for one of these!

Probably no less than £5k, as ive spent about £3k on it and the previous owner spent a good £2k on it. You can pick these up quite cheap but 99% it will be a money pit.

Drives like a new car and goes round corners like... well the car has got alot more to give as ive still not reached its limits in the handling department but intend on pushing it more :D

Must be getting old.

Good taste.

I knew there was a tiger owner on here :D

Just had a look on the owners club and some cheap bits.

Any rough guide prices on 2ltr ztec powered ones? or do you rate the pinto more?

Ideally if i got one i would like to put a 3sgte engine in as my celica uses

Difficult to say, best checking on PistonHeads and eBay to see what they're up for.

Duratec is best, Zetec would be better than Pinto as it's a lighter more modern engine.

My Pinto was the right choice economically at the time I built it some 5 years ago. It's tuned with plenty of power for the car type, but it's a bit heavy and the Webers are a PITA to tune. I rebuilt the engine myself so easy enough to work on.

Nowadays Zetecs are nice and cheap to buy.

What's the mileage and your best price? (PM if you like)

Any known issues other than the knock sensor? Much in the way of history? Any known accident history? When / what mileage was the clutch done?

Still on original turbo? What boost level has been run? What were the compression test results?

This could do me as a daily driver for a wee while.

Cheers,

Brian.

Ive heard that they often have problems with the suspension ? And is rather costly 1200 plus to sort lol.

Yours def does not suffer from this tho lol!

Yes the mileage they have suspension issues is approx between 60k - 80k miles on average but yes nearly all of mine is new.

Shocks are still original but new toyota ones can be had for £150 so no issues there really. Anything needed doing to mine in the future should be very minor and not cost the earth.

Alot of these get sold as they are an impending money pit and good ones are hard to find.
