SupraPod entry requirements

The Moderators of MkIVSupra.net had their annual Mediteranean cruise meeting and decided that they needed to introduce some sort of screening for members at this years SupraPod due to an influx of chavs into the club.

So when Lui showed up at the Santa Pod gate, Branners stepped up to meet him.

'I'm sorry,' said Branners; 'But the club is suffering from an overload of chavs and we have been forced to put up an Entrance Exam.'

'That's cool' said Lui, 'What does the Entrance Exam consist of?'

'Just three questions' shouted Mawby from a nearby gaggle of spare Mods, who were sitting around in the sunshine on their MkIVSupra.net logo'd, Sunseeker deckchairs.

'Which are?' asked Lui.

The first Mod, Red M shouted: 'Which two days of the week start with the letter T?'

The second Mod, Charlotte shouted: 'How many seconds are there in a year?'

The third Mod, Homer shouted: 'What was the name of the swagman in Waltzing Matilda?'

'Now Lui,' said Branners, 'Go away and think about those questions and when I call upon you, I shall expect you to have those answers for me.'

So Lui went away and gave those three questions some considerable thought (I expect you to do the same).

An hour later, Branners called Lui over and asked if he had considered the questions, to which he replied, 'I have.'

'Well then,' said Branners, 'Which two days of the week start with the letter T?'

'EASY,' said, Lui 'Today and Tomorrow.'

JB pondered this answer for some time, and decided that indeed the answer can indeed be applied to the question.

'Well then, could I have your answer to the second of the three questions?' Branners went on, 'How many seconds in a year?'

Lui replied 'You nearly got me there you t**t, but it's twelve!'

'Only twelve?' exclaimed Branners , 'How did you arrive at that figure?'

'Easy,' Lui said, 'there's the second of January, the second of February, right through to the second of December, giving a total of twelve seconds.'

Branners looked at Lui and said, 'I need some time to consider your answer before I can give you a decision.' And he walked away towards his Mods shaking his head.

A short time later, Branners and the Mods returned. 'We'll allow the answer to stand, but you need to get the third and final question absolutely correct to be allowed into SupraPod. Now, can you tell me the answer to the name of the swagman in Waltzing Matilda?'

Lui replied: 'Of the three questions, I found this the easiest to answer.'

'Really!' exclaimed Branners, 'And what is the answer?'

'It's Andy.'

'Andy??' All the Mods chorused.

'Yes, Andy,' said Lui.

This totally floored Branners, Mawby, Red M, Charlotte, Homer, Kranz and all the others who had gathered to see what all the fuss was about. They all then paced this way and that, deliberating the answer.

Finally, Mawby could not stand the suspense any longer. Turning to Lui he asked 'How in God's name did you arrive at THAT answer?'

'Easy' Lui said. And he started to sing:

'Andy sat, Andy watched, Andy waited 'til his billy boiled. You'll come a'Waltzing Matilda with me.'

I expect Lui knows all the answers anyway

That is brilliant. I actually LOL'ed for the second time this week.

I like the gaggle of spare mods line too.
