Guest skans789 Posted November 3, 2008 Share Posted November 3, 2008 Hello There My Car does'nt start when its cold but once you put Carbereter Cleaner in The choke it Fires Up With A Little Problem But Does start once ive put the cleaner in, Any ideas what it Is?? Tricky-Ricky Posted November 3, 2008 Share Posted November 3, 2008 Are you sure you have a Supra? they don't have a choke, electronic fuel injection is controlled on start up by temperature sensors, AFM/ pressure sensor and idle control valve and if any are faulty then it can cause bad starting. Well I'm afraid that doesn't give much of a clue, but i assume you may be referring to the intake pipe to the throttle body, and if you spray carb cleaner in then i suspect it probably a sensor problem, but with you're lack of knowledge, i would be inclined to take it to a garage that knows what there doing with supras.
