Initially I thought of the clear covering to protect from stone chips................someone beat me to it. Then I took the idea a step further with the whole colour change thing. I didn't think there would be any chance of being granted a worthwhile patent so didn't pursue it any further. I'm thinking this could be a viable business for mass produced colours, but for custom jobs probably not. I'm glad to see someone has actually tried it though.
