Kieran
I was driving down a dual carriage way this morning doing 70-80ish and the spoiler was down as normal (according to the light anyway), I slowed down to 40ish to exit the DC and the main warning light came on and the spoiler light started flashing. Checked when I parked up and the spoiler was in the up position and I could not get it to move manually with the switch. Had a search when I got home and it seems like it's usually a blown fuse or the spoiler not sitting in it's home position so I checked all that was ok and have also had the dash out and everything looks ok with the ECU. Any ideas chaps?
Kieran
Bit of a bump and a new question... I took this off a couple of weeks ago when I fitted my Do-Luck front and had put it down to the motor being fecked as it wasn't making any noise when I tried to operate it manually. But, I've just been out in the garage and decided to put 12V accross the motor contacts and it works fine both ways. So, that means it must either be a knackered ECU or was just a bad connection. How often do the ECUs just pack up?
