RedM
Could you imagine trying to have a conversation and having to stop every 10seconds! I have to do that. Usually it's to explain the big words I use.
tbourner
I have to do that. Usually it's to explain the big words I use. I used to have to do that, now I'm able to lower myself to the level of the people I'm around - it's a good skill to learn when you have to work with programmers and Engineers as well as line staff. Pot
I used to have to do that, now I'm able to lower myself to the level of the people I'm around - it's a good skill to learn when you have to work with programmers and Engineers as well as line staff. You've lowered yourself down to the line staff level? I'm plagued with calls from engineers, application owners 24/7, and when they're in 9-5, the line staff... 9/10 times, the line monkeys break things at 5 to 5pm, and then I get calls from everyone else for me to tell them how to fix their own systems... I don't care, I can claim an hours overtime each time I get called... Just don't keep retrying any site that says 'Every little counts' (Their health insurance bit), or Home insurance for your Egg...
