Conrad
Some do. http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/154551.htm I like them with the hardtop I think! Anyone know anything about the replicas? Do they hold value and are they as good as the originals. just looked on Auto Trader and out of the 29 on there only one was an original - at £60k! Are they that much better? tbourner
I LOVE Cobras, I'd have a replica or anything, as long as it had a proper engine (mate at work built one, ran out of money and put a bored 2.2 Ford 4 pot in it!!!!).
Conrad
Ok maybe I got it wrong, is this an original or a replica? It says it's a 1965 but also a 'recreation' Damn nice though - Cobra best pic: http://pictures.autotrader.co.uk/ATD_web/servlet/media?id=587313741
stupra
Kin Ell !, that car had some serious go, and she really didn't have a clue what she was doing did she . . Not a good mix .
garethr
Is that a 427 badge on the wing? Big-block torque and a wet road...... perhaps someone should have warned her that Cobras don't have "automatic stability control". Ok maybe I got it wrong, is this an original or a replica? It says it's a 1965 but also a 'recreation' Damn nice though - Cobra best pic: http://pictures.autotrader.co.uk/ATD_web/servlet/media?id=587313741 Perhaps they mean that it's an "official" AC Cobra http://www.acautomotive.info/index.html Or maybe that it's a very accurate replica. garethr
Found this on the AC site.... so it was their fault. In 1964 a special AC coupe built for Le Mans was clocked at 183mph at 4am on a newly built M1 Motorway. It is believed this led to the 70mph speed limit being introduced in 1965. kieren1234
OMG!!!! What the hell did she think she was doing, i reckon that is something my partner would do. I let her drive my 150bhp corsa a while back and she loved it. Not the supra though, she will never drive that!!!
Pete
OMG!!!! What the hell did she think she was doing I suspect she just panicked and forgot what her arms were for.

tbourner
I'd be scared if I was let loose in one of those!! Nearly 500BHP and some way under a ton IIRC.

JustGav
No defence, but remember most american cars would be automatic, that is a manual by the looks of it, and she would have forgotten about the clutch and paniced... (at a guess)
snake
well it could have been worse it might have been a supra, i thought american muscle cars were ok in a straight line but shit on bends,WRONG AGAIN
