bolarbag
Whats best to put in your radiator? Is there anything better than the Toyota 4life? I've been using this and need to do a coolant change when I install the fluidyne so is this the best stuff to use or are there better alternatives? Where is the best(and cheapest:p ) place to buy the Toyota 4life, if this is the one to use?
Chris Wilson
Normal ethylene glycol based antifreeze is fine, I think people who use 4Life are mad, it's just glycol with a red dye to show when it's gone acidic, at a luicrous price.
merckx
The workshop manual also specifies "ethylene glycol based antifreeze". All good car accessory shops will sell the stuff. Mix it with de-ionised water.
Joeatphr
After 10 years, I have always just used the Toyota Coolant and never had any issues with it! I would stick with what works for sure! Cheers, Joe
