Rooming List

Now Dont start with the 'can i share with him etc' swap when you get there if you want :) Just dont involve me...

And please understand that if you have a twin - where a double was requested then

1. Push them together or

2. You should know better at your age :)

(doubles are limited due to the room configuration)

OK Guys - this looks a good place and have posted a separate poll to confirm the date

I suggest we go for 3 per house (couple and single)

Hi Paul,

I have checked the picture, impressive prestigeous car.... we have done this kind of car meeting in our resort and Belle Dune , witch is suitable with it huge main central square where we could parc the cars, the square is sourrounded by a lake and as Belle Dune is an ecological resort it is very nice for journalist to take pictures of the cars with a nice background.

The House 8 persons that we have held for you on option are big enough to accomodate up to 4 pax :

1 bedroom large bed, 1 room with twin beds, 1 room with banked bed we can also use the living room as a bedroom

For the rates for 3 and 4 persons in Bed and Breakfast :

In April

For 3 persons/house 80 € /person

For 4 persons/house 65 € /person

In May

For 3 persons/house 88 € /person

For 4 persons/house 72 € /person

Please find enclosed the resort Map, houses picture and a view of thr bridge and the lake

I stay at your disposal

Kind regards

Lionel

I will be meeting you guys in Calais when you get off the tunnel. I think it's about a four hour drive there from here in Germany. I'll need to know how to secure my reservation and make my payment as soon as the date and arrangements are concrete. Questions about the security dude:

-Is he armed?

-Will he shoot to kill?

-French or British?

-Will the company that he represents insure the safety of our cars?

Stick you name up on the list (+ anyone coming with you) - marked accommodation only

In regards to the security - I am assured that at the very least he will not be Italian (!) His presence is just there to deter! So please dont ask more of them then that! :)

Update from Eurotunnel - May would have been more expensive - but I think £38.00 per car is good

We would have a specific meeting place arranged within the terminal half hour before departure etc

Dear Mr Evans,

Thank you for your recent enquiry regarding group travel with Eurotunnel. Based on the details provided, we would be able to offer the following fare:

£38.00 per car on a overnight ticket. (40+ vehicles)

Please keep to your booked departure time if you want to be assured of a fast crossing. However, we do recognise that it is not always possible to plan your arrival time at Check-In accurately. So, if you arrive at Check-In within 2 hours of your booked departure, we will, at no extra charge, transfer you to a space on the next available shuttle. Your booking will not be transferable if you arrive at Check-In more than 24 hours after the booked departure time. However, please note that this could be quite a long wait if we are very busy.

The fare quoted is based on the number of cars* given, and the dates and times advised. Once booked tickets are non-refundable, but amendable prior to outward travel. Unused bookings may not be amended for alternative dates. This quote is valid for bookings made by 8th January 2006.

Thank you for your enquiry and I look forward to hearing from you shortly.

Kind regards.

Tracey Middleton

OK guys lets do this thing...the offers of help are very much appreciated and I will get in touch

Mods - can you please switch on my editing rights to this thread please so I can prune as required etc?

Will be spiltting the confirmed attendees into 'packs' of five for the journey...all of who look out for all the others in your group...so in case you feel nervous about this you will have a support group around you...etc

I am travelling over to the venue later in January to recce it all out - check petrol stops / Accommodation etc

I will need to pay the money in then - so please start sending yours through

And any thoughts on a Sunday trip will be welcome - thoughts that Amiens might be a good one?

Hi Guys and Girls,

I've dropped in from MKiiisupra.net just to say hello and ask if there are any places left for the trip??? Also if you mind us tagging along.

Originally got the info for this run off Stouf (French guy) on an American Supra forum, long winded way to get info ???

At the moment we have 9 cars with a mix of driver only and couples.

Any help would be greatly appreciated :grouphug:
