ChrisSZ
Fairly certain that they are both (there are two) resonator boxes - mine are due to come off and be replaced very shortly with something a little prettier :)

Daston
while we are on the subject of all things NA, which one is the PVC valve is it the one on the drivers side going into the intake pipe or the purple one on the passanger side going into the intake mani? ChrisSZ
Passanger side one
Ian C
Both. And the resonator causes no pressure drop as it's an NA. -Ian
ChrisSZ
Both. That was my original thought, then I consulted the books and the passenger side one was labelled as th PCV whilst there seemed to be no mention of the driver side one. Also, glad to her that there are no problems removing the resonator boxes - as soon as I can find some ally pipework the correct diameter I intend doing mine :)
Ian C
The one hooked up to the intake is the wide open throttle breather, the one hooked up to the intake plenum is the part throttle and vacuum breather -Ian

ChrisSZ
PCV pipe vented to atmosphere Apexi filter with vacuum pipe plumbed into it (note panel under filter missing:) ) The whole shebang Looking for the next little bling project now LOL The pipes came from these guys http://stores.ebay.co.uk/REGALS-MOTORSPORT
Dave F
Nice mate just ordered apexi imduction kit. Do you know off hand the pipe dimensions needed.
ChrisSZ
76mm from the throttle body. However, the end of the Apexi tube is more like 80mm. I cut some of it off (aboit 1 1/2") and used a piece of 80mm samco with the rubber from the throttle body stuffed inside it at one end to make a snug fit betwen the ally pipe and the Apexi :)

Alex
I bet it also stops reversion...and so is a very good thing to leave in place, or replace with a blingier equivilent. By reversion I mean double reading the air at the MAF when the throttle plate slams shut. Without it you'll probably overfuel on lift off...which could induce stalling.
