Guest ugp
How would you suggest wiring this to run my twin elec fans? I've already got a relay in place, just need something to trigger it at the right temperature.
David P
Fused permanent live feed through the stat to trigger fan relay, this wiring arrangement allows fans to operate after engine has stopped and reduces heat sink. I thought you were fitting a stat in the bottom of your rad?
Guest ugp
I'm wondering if the sensor will screw straight into the bottom of my rad. Whats the thread on the sensor?
David P
This stat is a 103oC - 98oC for engine oil or trans fluid, They come in many flavours, take your blank out and ID the thread then your local Motorfactor will sell you one to your spec for about £3. I am using a 90-80oC in top hose, but you may need a slightly cooler spec for bottom of rad.
