AndrewOW
This certainly beats using my grandad's magnifying glass and holding my breath for half an hour trying to burn a small hole in some wood! http://www.break.com/index/homemade-solar-death-ray-1994814 I want one. I think I even have access to an old Sky dish too. With this evil weapon at my disposal, one day I'll take over the world! Muhahaha

Morpheus
Awesome! So why don't we all have one of these already to heat water and to run a steam turbine to generate electricity, atleast in direct sunlight? Why doesn't every town have an array? Why are we still burning coal, oil and gas and buying electricity etc. etc.? Great project idea, thanks! Bit brave of him sticking his hand so near though.....
