Guest Aeoss
Sorry if this a searchable item, I'm currently at work using my iPhone. I have the smaller 2 piston front and 1 piston rear calipers non supra logos and when I contanted a local car shop they told me that jspec supras use different brake pads then the us spec models. So far my internet search has brought me to the conclusion that the pads are not different unless you have a stock turbo caliper which are larger. Oh I have a 2jzge non turbo so these are smaller. But are there specific brake pads I need for a jspec model or were these people just pulling my leg? Thanks
bodilx6
As far as I know, all non-turbo and j-spec turbo brakes and pads are the same...
Guest Aeoss
thats what i assumed since i was not seeing any deviations from the brake pads available from multiple web sites. darn auto mechanics pulling my leg again.

Not correct, the larger 4pot front/2pot rear brakes were factory fitted on many of the later model NA and TT J-spec Supras.

Guest Aeoss
got it, the smaller 2 pot/1 pot pads are what im looking for. its a non turbo so it does not have the factory fitted larger pads/calipers installed. however they look nicer to have perhaps a investment i will have to do in the future. thanks

Some NA's were factory fitted with the larger brakes, are you sure yours are the smaller brakes?
