Sheefa
Hi all, Here's the score. Bought a Black J-spec Auto TT Supra on a 93 plate with mods as listed here: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140006501925&sspagename=ADME%3AL%3ARTQ%3AUK%3A1&rd=1 Guy was a member of this forum and Supra is in very good condition. However, I've heard a couple of noises recently - suggestions that could be crank pulley, tensioner belt or the like, but it only happens 1 in about 10 starts, for only a few secs. Anyway, looking to get it properly checked and serviced. Suppose you have to pay the bucks to make it last right, and I LOVE this car with so much damn passion! Put aside around 800 quid to make sure I get this done properly. Has anyone had a good experience (or bad) with the Toyota dealership? Any warranty offered after the service and how much is it normally gonna be? Thanks guys and big love! Greg;)
colsoop
Greg, It is worth making the journey to Chris Wilson, have a search for his name. He is based in Shropshire and i haven't heard a bad word said about him, he knows more than most about Supras and will see you right im sure. Toyota dealers tend to be pretty poor at servicing Supras they are more used to the mundane family type car and so don't really get to work on many of ours. penguin
AVOID TOYOTA DEALERSHITS LIKE THE PLAGUE.... i think chris wilson is local to you - one of the best
AndrewOW
Peeps in the Midlands have the best choice of good specialists, Chris Wilson, Phoenix, Whifbitz etc. Toyota in Eastbourne on the other hand has a good reputation for their care of Supras. Weird.

Pete
Definately user Mr Wilson! Toyota are muppets and wouldn't know what to do with your Supra, then charge you twice the rate.

Pete
i think Paul is around the Watford area I've just to see where Watford is. I thought it was the other side of hell, not this side. It's still not exactly local to West Mids though.
