Kev.O
Have a look at this. The seller is saying 500bhp, superchipped and wants £16,000 for an auto???? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1996-TOYOTA-SUPRA-TWIN-TURBO-UK_W0QQitemZ4568742929QQcategoryZ18290QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
Jezz
Hhhhhmmmmmmmm. 500bhp with a blitz filter and a superchip. Ok then. 100k miles too. No chance!!
RobSheffield
330 BHP as standard (imports are 280BHP) oh great, another knowledgable seller!

Gazboy
Front bonnet air intake??? Front bonnet eh? Does that mean he has a rear bonnet too? Large sums on the styling? Looks standard to me, except those blinging pimptastic wheels. Has rooling road print-outs too- does he lose 250bhp through tranny losses I wonder???? Gazboy
I can't ask the seller a question- could someone ask him why he didn't post up a pic of the dyno sheet? 500bhp from a chip n'filter and I'd have the graph blown up and hung from Dawn French's arse so the whole world could see it! RobSheffield
a bleed valve just noticed that - a bleed valve, on a Supra? cos he is too pikey to buy a boost controller! im sure it worked well with the superchip!
Gazboy
please tell me they aint spinners?! I don't THINK they are, although they cost him £500 each (u wuz robbed innit).
JohnA
bleed valve and superchip, that should take care of boost control and fuelling. I'm sure the Blitz airfilter will help show some good leakdown figures, too, closer to a 200-300K mile example perhaps. Smokem..... £16K for a 100K car, nice one
Chipmunk
Reply from the seller : As stated, all rolling road reports are available, 400 BHP is acheivable purely by chipping the ecu. Superchip is a brand of chipping the ecu where you can gain upto 25% more BHP on a turbo car instantly. A top quality exhaust on a turbo charged car can gain upto 40BHP, so as you can see it is incredibly easy to get over 500BHP just by spending two or three grand, then obviously, there is nitrous oxide. Ah, that's how he reached the 500bhp figure then 40bhp due to the special exhaust, and 25% on top of everything from the superchip. Then some nitrous. He forgot to add another 50+bhp from the bleed valve though Now it all makes sense.
JohnK
I think you'll find that all superchips do to a mkiv is put in a FCD and fit a bleed valve. Godd value for £500 :thumbdown

dangerous brain
Maybe I ought to raise my price to £20k then as mine is an aero with actual known performance mods and actual body styling bits on it. I thought you had to reduce the price if it had dildo's on the front
