cainhead
Sorry if this is a silly question, but. Anyone know how to test an 02 sensor to see if its still working.
Dan8
if your milage is about 60k then change them anyway if theres alot of deposits around them you can soak them in a cleaner or lemon lemon juice i use universal sensors from ebay bosch
Dave17
Ditto above. They're cheap enough that its probably worth just getting a new one, easy to install as well!
bondango
This should be in technical section. To test the sensor, start the engine and let it warm up Bridge out terminals TE1 and E1 on the diagnostics port Connect a multimeter (non digital is best) between the VF1 and E1 terminals of the diagnostics port. With the engine held at 2000rpms the Multimeter should fluctuate back and forth more than 8 times in 10 secs Any slower and the sensor needs replaced.
