supra dan
isnt redline supposed to damage the seals?
edge
isnt redline supposed to damage the seals? I spoke with guy at opie to confirm this but the reasearch i done revealed that it was redline heavy shock which contains limestone and other agents not so gearbox friendly. Guy said its good if you want to get rid of car with a knackered gearbox. But the D6 is good stuff and safe to use. Another forum i see mentioned that the 160 box had a label on the side from new saying use atf. Check the skyline forums also aswel as others and you will see. I will be sending him a sample of the V160 oil from my box when i change it so he will then confirm our beliefs.

edge
i have done 5000 KM so far The box needs an atf. When they first came out some boxes said use atf on the side (only what i read on other supra forums). I will be sending opie oils my old v160 oil to have tested and hopefully confirm that the D6 is more than good enough. Is it leaking from the main seals or the selector one as thats common for going.?
