garetheves
You are outside a cube, the cube is 12 meters wide, 12 meters deep and 12 meters tall on the surface facing you are three light switches at the rear of the cube is a sealed doorway there are no windows, and no cracks to peek through only one of the switches activates a light bulb which is inside the cube itself you can only enter via the door once and only once to check your progress which switch activates the bulb? If you have read the answer on B3ta then dont post
SuperSupra
Surely you can just flick all three switches no? Is that cheating?
garetheves
Surely you can just flick all three switches no? Is that cheating? Fraid it is cheating. EDIT: And even if you did flick all 3 switches you still wouldnt know which one turned the light on, all you would accomplish is turning the thing on. Jake
How do you know the bulb is off to begin with?
SuperSupra
Ask your mate who's stood next to you telling you all about this god damn cube to try all three switches while you stand at the door with it open and check for light
Animal
Edited to hide answer below Turn on first switch, wait a while Turn off first switch, turn on second switch, wait again Turn off second switch, turn on third switch, enter room If the light is on bingo - it's switch 3 If the light is off, feel it If it's warm switch 2 is the culprit If it's cold, it was switch one Do I win? SuperSupra
Or, can you not just open the door but not go in, prop it open with something then go and try the switches, and you could probably see the light that way?

garetheves
There are three words in the English language that end in -GRY. Two are HUNGRY and ANGRY. The third one everyone uses every day and knows what it stands for. If you listened carefully, I already told you what the word is. What is the third word? Think i might make this a regular thing like The Friday Joke.

garetheves
SOLUTION: (Highlight the text below to find out the answer) "Language" There are 3 words in "The English Language", what is the 3rd word?? "Language". Its all about Misdirection. The 1st 2 sentences are just to mislead you into thinking the puzzle is about words ending in "GRY".
