I called toyota today with the above parts numbers and apparently the part number you gave me for the Switch Assy, Oil pressure doesnt correspond with my veichle (Mkiv 1994 J Spec twin turbo Auto)

He said the part number would be either

8350-30090 or

83530-14060

any ideas?

The other part numbers were correct,

for the Idle speed Control was £480 plus VAT

and the gasget for the throttle body was £5.18 plus VAT

Thanks

Dave

I told you it was steep :p

As for the part numbers you quoted the 83530-14060 is susbtituted by the 83530-30090 and is quoted as 93/05 to 94/11 description is "nippon denso"

But also quoted is the 83530-30090 part number substituted with 83530-60020 from 93/05 - 96/05 and description of Yazaki.

That Toyota parts bloke doesn't sound too clever, he can tell you that the part number doesn't correspond with your vehicle yet he cannot tell you which one does.

Sometimes the part number is actually on the part itself, might be worth a look. :)

Here's what it looks like on the epc, a little confusing.

When i called toyota he said that on the existing part, it would have a number/letter which will define which part it is???

I've had a look at the oil pressure switch and there's two numbers on it, H20 and what looks like 4G but that could be 40. Hopefully one of these will tie up with Toyota's number.

I dont quite understand why they are saying that 83530-60020 doesnt exist. Would you think I would be okay getting part number 83530-30090 as they have this number on their system. Although above, its been stated that 83530-30090 part number substituted with 83530-60020 from 93/05 - 96/05 and description of Yazaki

The 83530-60020 is most likely the last supercession in the part no. list. I think Yazaki is a vendor name (manufacturer).

83530-14060 JZA80; NIPPONDENSO

83530-28020 JZA80..LB; DENSO

83530-28020 JZA80; DENSO

83530-30090 JZA80; YAZAKI

83530-30090 JZA80

83530-60020 JZA80..LB; YAZAKI

83530-60020 JZA80

83530-60020 JZA80; YAZAKI

These are all the 'earmarked' no's for the JZA80-ALFQZ.
