Digsy
That's bonkers Mind you judging by some of the 3D physics engines I've seen in PC games these days, 2D stuff shoud be well within the reach of most desktops. Probably not accurate enough to do anything serious with but I love how its all in real time. Good find
SteveR
Been playing with it for ages now, just made a rudimentary canon/machine gun (and a wall to smash down)
OhGod
If you get anything cool, why not post them up. Just grab the save file (it's a .CFG file) from the Scenes sub-folder and attach them to a post - though you might need to ZIP them to get around the forum filter (hopefully the mods don't mind this). Drop any .CFG from other people back into the Scenes folder so you can load them up. Here's some of mine, 2 basic 'car' attempts, mainly trying to get the suspension working and what not. Also got a pinball machine that my cousin did! Use the 'drag' tool to pull the plunger back and fling the ball in, then use it again on the flippers when required. Guest WikzoDK
Hey, Very fun game. But I have some troubles about making a driving car. I make the car and two wheels like on the pictures. I right click on the hing and select "Motor". But when it starts, it just falls down like the second picture. What am I doing wrong? http://img89.imageshack.us/img89/4109/car1pi7.jpg http://img502.imageshack.us/img502/4416/car2tk1.jpg
SteveR
Imagine that hinges work as follows (because they do, lol)- wherever you place it, it'll go through 2 'layers'. So you need to put the centre of the wheels over some of the bodywork of the car, and then add the hinge. BTW if you want a nice wheel-like hinge, r-click on the circle and select "add centre hinge", then turn it into a motor as required. (BTW, I found that often the motor strength has to be higher than the default 100 in order for it to move the weight of the car/whatever.) NB: If you add a hinge and there isn't a layer behind the thing you put the hinge on, it'll tack it to the background.
