Mike M
What the hell is this:- Its the first time ive looked inside the clutch fluid tank and I found this. I'm guessing it's a float for a switch and might even hazard another guess that it's meant to be in the brake reservoir. How close am I??
JustGav
Good point, I have no idea what it does... BUT I had one in my clutch res. and I left in there, when I did a fluid change.
Mike M
Damn looks like I'm way off, the brake reservoir doesn't have that type of switch in it. Oh well the mystery minstrel continues. lol
JustGav
My logic makes me wonder if it is designed to stop air being sucked in or something. It is approx the diameter of the neck at the bottom, guess if the fluid drops low enough it will create an airtight lock..
Mike M
I'd almost put money it being that mate. Cant think what else it would be for.
