I have used the .95 and find it a bit laggy. Housing at the front of the pic is .68 (non divided), behind that is the .81 (non divided) and then the .95 (divided). I plan on fitting the .68 first. Homer Posted August 13, 2007 Share Posted August 13, 2007 Interesting that the 0.68 one says Precision on it. I didn't realise Garrett outsourced their work to precision. Mike B Posted August 14, 2007 Author Share Posted August 14, 2007 Yes the tubby is 4088R and the two smaller non-divided housings are precision.. that mahoosive .95 divided housing is garrett.. that is now the smallest housing garrett make for the 4088R. I was also quite shocked at the difference in size of the exhaust housing between divided and non divided. Whats the consensus of opinion here is the divided 0.95 going to produce better results than the undivided 0.68?? I am going to try and swap out my tubbie tomorrow using my existing 0.96 ar divided housing and existing 0.70 ar compressor side. We shall see if it feels any different. Homer Posted August 14, 2007 Share Posted August 14, 2007 The divided housing will 'appear' to be much larger due to the huge slug of metal that has to be slung into the housing to divide it. The non-divided housing doesn't need this so will by nature be much smaller in size. It doesn't mean the internal volume of the housing is much smaller, but it will certianly look far larger from the outside.
