JustGav
Have you approached quaife, they MAY do a rebuild kit for the V160, or indeed do a stronger box that will mate up correctly.

Private Pile
Call JPS and speak to Leon... he'll put you in touch with his gearbox guy that works on his drag car (and mine) so you might find it's a considerably cheaper option than buying a new one. Jazzy
If it was rebuilt by a competent gearbox specialist, I think I'd go with the 1st option and save myself a few grand
ADL Mark
Go for the rebuild, it'll be all new bits anyway so no difference apart from saving yourself a wedge and getting it done quicker. I expect even from Toyota UK you'll be in with a wait, I can't see them keeping stock of a gearbox that was only put in 200 UK cars. I bet they'd ship it from Japan too.. Pig
it would but rebuilt 2k brand new 4k what would you do;) 2K for a re-build - i had no idea it would be so expensive. My polo box was only £250! Dam turbofit again! P.S personally i would pay the extra for a new one.

Muffleman
Will certainly get that price to you asap mate. See how you feel when you get it back. Once the gearbox is done, there aint much TF work left on the car. Ryan was happy with the engine and install work, he said the engine was really quiet inside and running really well. Call you later mate
