Auto - 'Overdrive off' Flashing???!

There are two ways to sort this!

The first to try is to take the top panel off the speedo surround and find the odo printed circuit board,RESLODER all the joints on the rear(with age these crack and are called Dry Joints).

The other thing to do That Sorted mine is to disconnect the odo connector plug you will see a plain pink wire and a blue/red wire

CUT the pink and connect the loom side of the pink wire to the blue/red wire (splice it in) the small part of the pink wire just tape it out of the way.

THIS WILL cure the flashing light with no affect to anything else.

A faulty speedo / odo converter chip can cause this and I'd investigate that first as quite often they're poorly installed using scotchlocks or similar.

 

The brake fluid level thing is when you have the yellow warning triangle coming on, not the O/D off light.

Peter had the triangle, the brake sign, and the OD fault I believe. Lol, doesn't rain it pours.
