Tricky-Ricky
I suppose this is aimed at Ian C really! before I get around to installing my blue emanage, I just wanted to double check a couple of things, first off, pin 62 is the correct one to cut and splice for pressure sensor? and rotary switches are 7 4 0 for the 2JZ GTE? although there are three other PS listed? and firing order is 1 5 3 6 2 4 is that correct? Just out of interest, I have had my blue emenage for about 2.5- 3 years and have never bothered to update the software (after hearing about a lot of people having trouble after update) I have never had any problems with mine, but am I missing any features from not updating? need less to say I will be running a wideband lambda, I will also run the Greddy pressure sensor, and also an EGT gauge, and when I get around to plumbing it in Aquamist water injection, and yes I have used all this on my last car for mapping. Ian C
Yes, yes, and yes Assuming it's a J-Spec we are talking about. That's the right wire, the right switch settings, and the correct firing order. Also make sure JP2 is set to pins 2-3. It's default 1-2 and it'll make your ignition system run on 5v instead of 12v. If everything works at whatever version you are at, leave it at that. No features were added to the E-Manage, really the updates fixed bugs and added engine types/cars/airflow sensor type to cover more vehicles. If you need to update, go for v1.39 firmware and v1.13 software because that's the latest Blue one I used and it was peachy. There is an update beyond that which gives your Blue some of the Gold special edition features but I know one person at the moment who is running those versions and having problems - I absolutely cannot attribute these problems to the E-Manage yet but I'm not ruling it out either, so better safe than parked -Ian

Tricky-Ricky
Just resurrecting this as i have another question, when i used it on my last car, it was set for AFM and i did not need to use the boost cut feature, so can someone tell me the correct settings for this? and do i need to clamp the same voltage for each rpm increment? i will be using the Greddy pressure sensor for the correct fuelling above the clamped setting. Soonto_HAS_soop
My boost cut is clamped at 4.40v for the entire rev range. Has been like that since day 1.
