Tricky-Ricky
I am about to decat (both) and i have been told that i can just leave the second sensor out (still connected) will this not have an impact on the o2 feedback ? or throw up an error code? Homer
The 2nd sensor on the 2nd cat is not an O2 sensor, its a cat temperature sensor. Just tie it out the way as its not needed.
Tricky-Ricky
OK thanks:) had me confused because they have it labeled as an oxygen sensor in the manual.
Jspec Germany
sorry for the hijack, but I'm headed towards BPU on my jspec and I'm wondering: when I go fully uncorked, are there any sensors that need to be in place along the exhaust or is that a UK/US spec only thing? SimonB
OK thanks:) had me confused because they have it labeled as an oxygen sensor in the manual. That's because the manual is for the US/UK Supra, which does have a second O2 sensor in the 2nd cat. On a Jspec there is nothing in the 2nd cat, the cat temperature sensor is in the 1st cat and you can just tie it out the way.
