Some fabrication work

Some fabrication work of recent, might help some members who are planning mods.

 

All work done by East Coast Customs, Lisburn.

 

1. twin 3" cats, random tech race models.

2. Active spoiler lip brackets attached to rad crossmember

3. other side of active lip

4. bottom of modded stock air box (keeping noise down mod as bov re circs)

5. mod air box, has blitx panel filter

6. FPR bracket

7. new inlet pipe with IAT, relocated catch tank and lightweight 600cca batt in custom bracket

8. overflow bottle bought on here

9. bracket to steady pipe with rubber lined p clip

10. inside welding of cats - pretty good eh?

After measuring the stock air box, which has two intakes, and a decent size ouput pipe, i think the inlet restriction thing is another accepted nonsense, unless your running 2 bar plus or 900bhp etc, at my power level it will make little difference :)

There may be a very small trade off for a quiet car, but that I am willing to have, as I want the car to sound close to stock as possible around town. Trying to stay away from the "tuner car drive" as much as i can. Quiet and quick :)

and some more.....

 

1. Fitted the facelift "Gussets" for shell strength

2. stock intake after some work fitted to airbox, that rad made it a little tricky.

3. custom mount for SBC solenoid and aem wideband connection

4. MY GTR at the workshop today.

5. Rad to cowling mount bracket.

So those "gussets" are facelift only. Didn't realise that difference
