jamesmark
He did turn out some nice work. RIP Probably some of the best, the attention to detail the man showed was out of this world. Some say he treated his staff incorrectly, but with his passion I think we would all be the same. After all it is America and we would only see what makes good watching
SILKYSMOOTH
OH NO, has this been confirmed? when did this happen? cant believe it...I have kept up with the shows for quite some time now...thats really bad news...I'm really shocked. Everyone at the shop seems to leave due to bad management, long working hours and ridiculous deadlines an management changing their minds all the time. Still shocked, I had a feeling things were not going so good, but did not expect this!
ivan
A shame. I know the prog always made out that he treated his staff badly, but I wonder how much of that was contrived for the TV?

SILKYSMOOTH
A shame. I know the prog always made out that he treated his staff badly, but I wonder how much of that was contrived for the TV? I'm sure he was a really nice bloke, a bit more traditional than some of the more modern outrageous 'overhaulers'. RIP Boyd - no doubt he will be in 'Hotrod Heaven'
Bobbeh
Damn, thats a big loss I wonder whats going to happen to his place.. at least he had a good life doing what he loved! RIP.
colsoop
Brilliant visionary hot rod builder. Sadly he couldn't say no to a job and appeared to be a bad man manager.
