Stonkin
Has anyone got one of these or get any opinons on it. Seen it advertised on the tele and am thinking of getting one. I wouldnt be using it on a daily basis, purely for trips where i dont know where the hell i'm going, once or twice a month. I found this forum about it, with very mixed opinions - http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=300535 The model is an Evesham nav-cam 6200

Stonkin
thats what i thought James. I reckon if you rely on one daily (say for work) then get a proper TOM TOM or something, but for everynow and then i cant really justify the £300 odd. Some people on that forum have had issues and have returned them, but if it breaks then take it back. Some people are also saying it has taken them on some funny routes, but the IPAQ i use with TOM TOM software certainly has its days to, and being so bulky its hardly that useable. Also with mine being an IPAQ (which i dont use daily) they tend to wipe themselves, of OS as well, if they run out of battery. I can quickly upload an image to it, but if i need to grab it quick and go, then its a pain in the arse. I think one of these could be just the trick for £99! There on ebay as well for £140!! Stonkin
Exactly Michael, things around £100 are always good pressies without taking the piss, and this would be something actually useful as well. Have a good read of that forum link though. There are some very mixed reviews about it
