So, im sat flicking through the 1360 channels of cable tv while im at my girlfriends house in the states when i come accross channel 32. "Speed" Which seems to show NASCAR all day most of the time.

However this time it has a show called "Pass time" which appears to be a gameshow based arround a RWYB competition however there are 3 guys who have to guess the time of the run and the closest gets some money which goes up every few runs... Surprisingly entertaining!

Here we go...

Watched several episodes of this in the states, enjoyed every one. However, I think the points scoring needs looked at, as long as you win a couple of the later rounds you’ll normally win due to these being worth as much as winning several of the rounds at the beginning. Was good if there was a tie at the end and a mystery car was used as the decider, usually some sort of sleeper. I remember watching one episode in which a guy with an evo 8 was asked how much boost he was running. Can’t remember exactly how much it was (2bar+, maybe), however the resident expert was questioning if it was safe to run that much boost on a “stock motor”. “Yep, no problem”. Skip forward thirty seconds and the guy is pushing his car back off the start line, having tried to launch the car at full revs!:clown:

There was another modified car program on speed where top end cars were raced on an air strip, remember a twin turbo dodge viper spinning out on a straight at 150mph! Can’t remember what the program was called though.
