Sharpie
http://www.mohdparts.com/egr_mods/ Why would you want to keep the EGR fitted if you blank off one of the plates ? is it because getting the second one out is a PITA ? Is there any downsides to doing this mod ? I have the engine out and the Intake manifold off at the moment so, think this might be a good time to get this done. Hi Neil, From the link Purpose: to disable the EGR system from injecting exhaust gases back to the intake system, also to stop the flow of hot gases inside the back of the head (egr cooler) that lead to problems with the rear cylinders valves overheating as proven is several supras. I got a FMIC fitted for that nice cool air and found that exhaust gases are pumped back in to the Intake Manifold Not heard of the valves overheating before though! SkyJawa
Blimey - so only something to consider if you are FMIC'd?
Soonto_HAS_soop
Blimey - so only something to consider if you are FMIC'd? And if you're UK'd IIRC. J Specs don't 'ave 'em. Sits back and waits to be corrected. Ben..
